LIST OF COUNTRY BUS ROUTES IN DÉPARTEMENT OF MANCHE 2004

by now most bus routes were schooldays only services (marked "PS" in the tables below),

routes marked "annuelle" ran all year round and "estivale" routes were summer only

The principal regular country bus routes operating outside of school term were:

Cherbourg - Valognes - St-Lô  (operated by STN)

Cherbourg - Barfleur - St Vaast - Quettehou (STN)

Cherbourg - Briquebec - Portbail (STN)

Cherbourg - Les Pieux - Siouville (STN)

Granville - Avranches (STN)

Coutances - Gouville (STN, summer only)

Pontorson - Avranches (Courriers Bretons)

Pontorson - Mont Saint Michel (Courriers Bretons)

Follow this link for the Buses of Cotentin 1934  -  a reprise of country and interurban services from 70 years ago.

In September 2007 a new network of routes called  manéo and supported by the département of the Manche, was introduced.
