Bedford OB MYA 525 (its twin was MYA
526) at Castle Cary, these pictures were all taken in 1963. MYA 525 was in the Wakes fleet from 1950 to 1971, a Duple-bodied 27 seater. |

Peter Brown adds: My recollections of Wakes Coaches are
sketchier than I thought but these are they: there were two
Duple-bodied Bedfords, one was 13 BYB and the other was (I think) 813
BYC. YRV 301, a newer Bedford, was painted in a darker blue than the
traditional livery; the green and cream half cab coach parked at
Sparkford for years was RMX 748.
