More routes along the Piddle Valley from Dorchester, with the 6 and 7 heading north towards Hazelbury Bryan and Sturminster Newton. Apart from a daily workers journey to and from Dorchester, the emphasis of these routes was on serving the Monday market in Sturminster and the Wednesday and Saturday markets in Dorchester, whilst the 8 was a Thursday only service for Sherborne market.
